Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day and it's something that should be remembered. Right? It's remembering a sweet little baby who could only hear your heartbeat, only a bond a Mother would know. Why not remember it? Not only miscarrying a child, but also delivering a butterfly baby. It's a trial you go through to strengthen your faith and to trust in God more. That's the only way I got through losing our baby. Is it hard to let go and let God? Yes, I still have a hard time with every day stuff. You just have to lay your burdens down and trust in Him.

As I sit here and type this, I have a candle lit in honor of our baby. Did you forget to light your candle tonight? Do it tomorrow night, it's a never forgotten memory.  As I was reading some comments under a friends post on FB, I came across a Mom saying how it has become taboo for people to talk about it. She has a point! It's almost like break milk--goodness forbid you give a friend breast milk because that's just "weird." Drinking Cow and Goat Milk is WEIRD, but we do it. We are the only mammal who doesn't 'drink' their own milk. Who's the weird one? Really though! LOL Back to what I was saying, why is it that people dismiss things because it's not normal? Maybe it's not their normal and they like to make it weird. I am not the one to talk about it randomly, but if it gets brought up I will. I know some people just don't know how to talk to people about life situations, maybe they don't want to upset someone, maybe they haven't been in that scenario and don't know what to say, or maybe they don't care. Don't care? Yep! You have some people who think being pregnant with a child  who has a heartbeat isn't a person, so that makes him/her not human because they haven't taken their first breath. News flash--If you throw fertilizer on soil to make grass grow, and you see green buds...is that grass/living organism? YES! Same difference, different concept.

If you don't remember my blog Click Here to Read It.

Since then, we got pregnant again and had Flynn. He is number THREE. People always ask will there be another? Of course, if God has plans for us to have another! I would love a football team, but I am also content with the three I have now...and our foster children. I love our foster children. I am taking one day at a time and enjoying every child God has given me.

I am logging off--DVR and hot tea time. Have a good night and will catch you later!

15,714 Readers!!

15,714 Readers!! I feel honored and the love!

As most of you know, we have been back and forth to so many Doctors for Sawyer in the past and now we can greatly say, we found an Ophthalmologist that can do surgery! If you would like to know more information, please Click here for Sawyer and you can also subscribe to his updates!

How have you been? As I sit here typing this, I am literally watching the Clemson game with my eyes and let my fingers do the talking. How many Clemson fans do we have in the house? What about Carolina (BOOOOO)? My pumpkin pie is in the works to making it to my mouth, not sure if I can make it to half time.

Hubs is in Pre-Med which isn't easy. He has 18 credit hours Mon-Fri classes and then he works before, in-between, and after class. I finally got a 2 hour nap yesterday in 5 months all to myself...it felt great! I honestly can't believe it has been that long, but time has FLOWN! The last time I actually laid in bed was 40.5 weeks pregnant with Flynn MISERABLE and couldn't sleep! We have had so much fun having 3 boys. Watching Bentley and Sawyer interact with Flynn makes me fall so much more in love with them.

Time to go eat some pie, thought I would share how many viewers I have had. What would you like to read? Anything new in your life? You guys are the reason I am still around, even if it is every so often!

Reviewing My Own Blog...

I am back! How many times have you heard that before? LOL! I am going to TRY and post more to my Blog rather than my Facebook so much. I am hoping to keep up this Blog better than I have been, but I guess only time will tell. I've been trying to activate my account for a couple of weeks now, forgot my e-mail and password to this thing. Why does Google all a sudden have to have an account with everything on the Internet?! This account is set up with a previous e-mail before Hubs and I wed, so trying to remember with preggo brain is simple impossible.

Hubs and I are expecting our third child, Flynn, currently 37 weeks pregnant. I was ready yesterday to have this baby! From the 3D/4D ultrasound, he's a cute one with 3 chins. Yep! I said 3 chins, LOL! I was measuring 39 weeks 3 days ago, so if I am measuring 40 on Monday, there will be talk of induction. This Mama doesn't want a planned pregnancy, I am all for surprises. Bentley decided to come on his own, induced with Sawyer because I was measuring so big, and now here we are again. I have two little ecstatic boys who is ready to meet their little brother--bring on the baby!

Since the last time I shared with you all, I finished school! I am hoping to continue my education again after Flynn is born and soon be a Lactation Consultant. I NEED clinical hours and I know it wouldn't be smart to start them while pregnant. Who would pack on the stress? As I have a little time right now, I am using it for this Blog.

Time to sign off--I need to do some updates to this Blog! If you want to know every time I post, please subscribe!

Babbles

These past couple of days, Sawyer, has been sick. We usually don't take him to the Dr for a fever (unless it's high), but it wouldn't break and only kept getting higher. We broke down 30 minutes before the Peds office closed (yes, we were one of those people yesterday!), so we could see what was going on. He didn't show any signs of being sick except having a high fever and sleeping most of the day away. If you know Sawyer Ray, you know that isn't like him. They ended up diagnosing him with Roseola which is an illness from a viral infection and we are to let it run it's course--nothing major. What parent wants to watch their child go through anything...even as simple as a cold? Not I! He seemed to be doing a tad bit better this afternoon, but he started to feel sick again this evening. Keep the poor guy in your prayers!

Another request is prayers for me. I have been battling this undiagnosed issue for over 1.5 year and the past two months, I've been going through a good bit of x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. I don't want to even talk about this word because even though I do not know my diagnosis fully, I feel horrible talking about it on social networking because I know a few people who have or they know someone who has it and if everything comes back OK, then I feel like I hurt someone because they are hurting with it. I also don't like talking about myself much--especially since we have had A LOT of things that have been going on this year--I admit...it gets annoying reading it on FB. That's why I Blog. I am going yet again to another appt tomorrow, pretty important appointment actually, but I KNOW this is all apart of Gods plan. I will Blog more about the situation once we know what all is going on, but pray for guidance, strength, comfort, and answers as I go to my appointment.

Remember me telling you in a previous Blog that I had some exciting news to share?! Well, here it goes.............DRUM ROLL PLEASE...............we joined Powdersville First Baptist Church! This may not be as exciting to you as it is to us, but we are happy! We have been on the hunt for a Church for over a year now, taking our time to visit most of the Churches in this area. Something about the ones we previously visited, it didn't feel right. It wasn't 'home' if that makes sense. We have been going to PFBC for 9 months and we had been praying and praying and praying and praying and praying and praying about joining for 8 months and then God answered our prayers. It was all in His timing, we just had to put our trust in Him. So with that being said, he had been wanting to get Sawyer dedicated. We were never able to because Hubs left shortly after he was born with the military, and then when he came home we started looking for a Church home. We wanted to attend a Church closer to home and to be more involved. We decided once we found a Church home whenever that would be, we would dedicate him then. On Fathers Day, we ended up joining AND dedicating Sawyer. It can't get any more amazing than that! As I am sitting here typing this, I can't help but smile and thank Him for directing our family. I am blessed to say that not only do we have one Church family, but we now have 2. I go to my parents Church on days Hubs works and has drill because I am a very shy person until you get to know me and I hate doing things on my own. I need to step out of my comfort zone and just go by myself. Easier said than done! I love both Church families with my entire heart and so happy to know that we can count on them for anything.

I think I may go and take a much needed bubble bath and then hit the hay early. It's tough work taking care of a sick kiddo! Nite!

Just Full of Good News

I always say I am am back for good and then months go by and I never post anything. Can't blame it on anything except I stay so busy! This evening I have finally had time to sit down, relax, and just think. I miss blogging. I miss reading the replies on Facebook from my posts. I miss my Bloggy Friends. I am going to blog more, but I can't promise everyday----haven't you heard that before too..?

I am still in school and chasing after two monsters all day, LOL! Hubs and I have been blessed with the biggest opportunity, but I will not be sharing that for a while. I've learned to keep most things off social media these days, sometimes it can just bite ya in the butt :) We just got back from vacation last week from Florida and had a blast! The boys got to see their Grandma, Aunt, and Uncles. MIL has a place on the Beach in New Smyrna, Fl (a two bedroom house) and we shared that itty bitty space with 11 people plus 3 more for a night. It was difficult to stay on rountine with the boys...even ourselves, but we managed! Quite challenging with that many loud people off and on for a week. To say the least, we ended up coming back 3 days early, lol! We like our space, but out of 14 people half of that were kids running around. CRAZY! We needed to get away and have been wanting to for a while, but that was the icing on the cake! Now I am looking into planning our 5 year Wedding Anniversary! How crazy is that?!?!?! I can't believe we have been married almost 5 years. I also can't believe that Christmas is only 6 months away. Life passes by so quickly, it's hard to sit and watch it. Bentley will be three in less than a month and Sawyer will be 2 in 2 months. If we had went full term with our third, we would be hitting that due date. It just amazes me how our time on earth isn't long. Anyway, as I venture off and babble--check out the picture of my three favorite people.

Man, I love those kids! They may literally drive me in over drive crazy, but my love for them grows every minute I'm with them. I am in love and so blessed to call myself a Mom.

Hubs and I also have some awesome news, but won't be sharing that until Father's Day, but I can tell you that God has blessed us tremendously! Father's Day is coming up and I finally figured out what I am getting Hubs. I've been tossing ideas around my head now for a while, but I have the perfect gift! ME! Just Kidding! :) I order it this afternoon, so now I can only hope UPS delivers it before next Sunday! Knowing the postal luck I have, it will probably be 1 day late just like my Moms Mothers Day gift was. Better late than never, eh?

Now since this is the I'm baaaaaaaaaack blog, time to update this site again and refresh some pictures! Keep coming back to visit! I love having traffic on my page!

Juggling Priorities

Since my last Blog, I've been doing better. I think after 3.5 months I am starting to feel like myself again. I think losing a child is one of the hardest things...ever. Emotionally and physically. During that process, I grew even closer to my two sweet boys and even found a new love.

I am still in school and it keeps me stressed. I use to be a good student, good grades, good GPA, and always studied. Now, I barely get my class work turned in on time, my GPA is dropping, I never study, and I am turning into a careless student. I never have time! I chase two crazy, grumpy, wild, loud, crazy, temperamental, hungry, fussy, fighting, hitting, clingy, sweet toddlers all day. I have been asking myself the past couple of weeks, HOW am I going to make it through this Summer doing more classes that require studying? I also have asked myself, is it really worth it? I stress myself--I guess I actually let myself do it, but this is the day I usually have: breakfast, lunch, supper, cleaning house, laundry, putting clothes up, washing diapers, potty training that's never ending, break up continuous fights, naps, baths, bedtimes, play dates, play time, errands, straighten house, and then SCHOOL. That is your average stay at home Mom thing which isn't easy, but rewarding. After a day like that, I'm tired. No wait, I am exhausted. I wish I had more hours in a day, help with the boys, and maybe that would bring the Megan Howard student back because the Megan Miller student is struggling to make everyone happy. As you probably roll your eyes at this Blog thinking 'you can do that with no problem' but it's not like that for me--please say a prayer for me because I am at my last straw with school. I miss not stressing over school and just worrying about the boys and the house. Why did I chose another career path? I love school (when I'm not stressed) and I love to learn.

Bentley and Sawyer are growing up so fast and learning so much! It's amazing what kids pick up from other people-some of it, not so good! Bentley likes to pick up bad behavior from other kids and is starting to test me. Sawyer just started hair pulling 3 days ago when he gets mad. If I am holding him and he's pitching a fit, he grabs a handful of my hair and pulls it. Sawyer got mad at a poor 80 year old relative yesterday because she took the last biscuit that he kept wanting, so he threw a crouton at her and yelled. Where did my sweet little Sawyer go a 4 days ago? I know kids go through stages like this, but it hurts me to see them act that way. They definitely don't see that at home, so maybe it's behaviors every kid goes through? Is this normal? They get disciplined for it, but they look at me like, "Really Mom? That's all you got?" They fight like cats and dogs, their trying to learn how to share, they are the sweetest kids ever when they chose to be, and they are into everything. They are your typical toddler times 2, LOL! Bentley is starting to have an imagination that is quite comical and Sawyer is starting to be Mr. Mischievous. There is never a dull moment in the Miller Household!

Well, I need to wrap this up! I have to start lunch and put the kiddos down for a nap! Have a good Monday!

Heaven Got Another Angel

Today has been a rough day full of emotions. This afternoon, I lost our child. Our sweet little baby who we have been so excited about, shouting from the rooftops, our precious bundle of joy-gone. I went for an emergency OB appointment to have the ultrasound and the whole 9 yards done, just so it was medically confirmed. It was hard, very hard. I didn’t really hit me until I was home with my boys that I have lost one of them, an actual child. A baby sister/brother the boys will never get to meet, a precious baby that I won’t feel that little warm hand wrap around my finger.  I will never get to kiss those sweet feet and compare her looks to ours. I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest, I want her back. We haven’t told the kids and I don’t think we are. If Bentley keeps asking about his “baby seester” then we will figure out a way to tell him, he’s just still too young to understand.
Not only does this hurt physically; I never knew how emotionally hurt people would be after something like this, and now I know. It hurts. You have this maternal relationship when you’re pregnant that most Moms feel. That attached feeling only you and baby have. When that attachment is taken away from you in matter of seconds, you feel alone. Although, my heart is aching, I am blessed that Hubs and I had this much time with her.
Now is the waiting game for my body to pass everything else after baby. As I go to the bathroom, I am constantly reminded and my body hurts. My body is reacting like it does after birthing a child, except I don’t have my child. It knows there is something foreign in it, so it is contracting to pass out the old.
I’m not angry, nor do I blame God because this was His plan and His child I would have been borrowing from Him; God’s gift to me wasn’t quite finished. He blessed us this short time to love and get to know another child before he took her along.
Hubs seems to be doing fine, we really haven’t talked much since this afternoon. I’ve kept to myself in bed praying, thinking, and crying. Tomorrow starts a new day with only reminders of today. God has a purpose and He knows why He called her home. When the OB told me the news, I only thought of this verse and how wonderful it fits. “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” (Job 1:21 NIV)

You never said you're leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That nobody could ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

I didn’t get to feel you kick, or look into your eyes. I didn’t hold you in my arms, or hear your little cry.
I didn’t get to see your smile, or even know your name. But, you’ll always be my baby and I love you just the same.

Happy New Years Eve!

I know I said in my previous Blog that I will see you next year, but I wanted to share some pictures from 2012.

Hubs at Drill.
He's now a soldier.
Bentleys first time seeing his Daddy in over 4 months.
Sawyers first time seeing his Daddy in over 4 months.
Sawyer learned how to crawl!
Bentley turned 2!!
Bentley turned 2!!
Sawyer turned 1!!
Sawyer turned 1!!
Sawyer started walking!
I even got a decent picture of these two this year!
I even had 3 out of the norm hair colors this year!
We even added another addition!

This is just a little bit of what our year was like. It was a long 2012 for me,  I can't wait to see what 2013 brings. My kiddos hit a lot of milestones, as well as, growing their own little personalities. My goal for 2013 is to be a better Wife, Mom, Photographer, and Blogger. Hope you have a wonderful night tonight as we bring in the new year!

Happy New Years Eve!

We are Expecting!

Finally! I can't keep quiet any longer! We are expecting baby #3! I was wanting to wait a little bit longer before we told everyone, but I am showing and Bentley is telling everyone. The poor child is just too excited! Although, he keeps telling everyone it's a little sister, maybe he feels the vibe, lol! We finally broke the news to my entire family, and then we made it 'Facebook official' yesterday. I didn't plan on telling anyone outside of family and just let them see it on Facebook because I literally don't talk to anyone. Not a single person-maybe once or twice a month if I'm lucky. We were surprised again (twice now!), but it couldn't be better timing. I am, however, praying Hubs doesn't deploy in July because it would be hard on me-not saying I can't do it. I'm glad he didn't get selected a few months ago on a random count! I didn't know they did that! Anyway, I do not think we are telling the gender and I am debating on the due date. At least put it on Facebook because I don't want everyone knowing...I think lol! I can't wait to meet this little Squishy Miller! I am excited of course, but it makes it soooooo much better when Bentley (the oldest in the picture), is so excited and that's all he talks about. THAT is what makes me feel whole. I love being pregnant after the morning sickness of course, which it hasn't yet decided to leave my body--Hubs made my day by telling me there is something about pregnancy that makes me so much more beautiful. Daaaaaw :D LOL!

Hubs and I are having a date night in. He went to grab the delicious food-which is why I have time to Blog away my little heart! I made chocolate covered kiwi, bananas, and strawberries for our little night. Since we have children, we can't just jump in the car and go just anywhere, so we bring the romantic evening to mi casa, lol! I'm looking forward to it, mainly because I want fruit!
...and spend time with my Hubs of course.

Tomorrow is the last day of 2012! This year had rough patches in it like most years do. Hubs was gone for 4 months Military, so other than the dreading months before he left and when he was gone-the following months made up for it. Bentley started talking so much this year, Sawyer learned how to crawl, walk, and talk. We found a new Church home close to our house and really really love it. I crave to be there and can't get enough of it. I realized there is more to life than worrying about the small things and enjoy family. I can't even begin to express how blessed I am, it's indescribable. Not to mention, we found out about Squishy Miller.

2013, we are hoping to be at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Please keep us in your prayers as Hubs tries to get into the Med School down there. We are hoping to already be down there by the time Squishy Miller is born, but it's only in Gods timing. Please, keep us on your prayer list.

Please keep safe tomorrow night as we enter into a new calendar year. See you next year!

Merry Christmas a Little Late!

Hope you all had a good Christmas! I'm sorry I am a little late, but we have been so busy with family, traveling, and celebrating. We woke up early Christmas morning because Hubs had to work that day. He wasn’t even supposed to work Holidays this year, but you never know I suppose. Oh well, we still enjoyed it and nothing was different from any other year. The boys really liked what Santa brought them; Bentley, is now at the age to where he knows whom Santa is, so that made it ten times more fun!
Here's a few pictures from our Christmas Day:

Santa Came!

Bentley opening his gifts...

Sawyer opening his gifts...

A little bit of Bentleys Christmas...

A little bit of Sawyers Christmas...
Santa even brought MoJo Christmas!

Hubs got a GoPro Hero 3.

Hubs got a LCD Headlight.

He got season 1&2 of Walking Dead and a CD.

FINALLY got a new camera case!!

I've been needing a mouse for my MacBook Air :)

Fun.

That's just a little bit from our Christmas. What did Santa bring you? Hubs and I also got a nice gift together, maybe I will share that in another Blog sometime this week. Hubs had a nasty stomach bug on Christmas Eve, so while we were in NC with family, he pretty much slept and puked-not the joys of Christmas, lol!

So much has gone on this week, I don't know where to begin! Exciting new things I might add. First off, Jesus's Birthday, Hubs has a week off from work-woo hoo, we are having a surprise 60th Birthday Party for my Dad Saturday, and then NewYears festivities! What a week! I'm pretty sure my Dad knows the family cookout is actually a surprise party for him, but then again he's so clueless, lol!

I am leaving you so quickly today. I have to bake for my Dads party tomorrow! Ya'll have a good weekend!!

Another Rainy Day...

Another rainy day! I love it! I opened the door and had to gasp for air because it was so cold, it knocked the air out of me. We did absolutely nothing today! Well, take that back-I washed 2 loads of laundry. I forgot what it was like to actually sit on your behind and sleep when the boys do. The house is spotless, so we had nothing to do. Ok-take that back too, lol! I can think of PLENTY of stuff to do, but we chose to spend the day relaxing. Tomorrow will probably be a laundry day that I am already dreading.

I will be glad when tomorrow comes and goes. I am tired of reading about the '2012 Apocalypse.' I have read so many scared status's on Facebook, I'm about to sign out until December 22. So many people are scared to death and asking other's on Facebook, "what do you think?!?" "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." -Mark 13:32 Did you know that 10 Percent of the world population fears the 2012 Apocalypse? Click here to see for yourself, but don't let it get to your head. What if something DOES happen? Are you ready? Do YOU know where you are going?

Here is the crafty craft the boys and I made yesterday. I try to do crafts with them a couple of times a week. I am a crafty person, I'd be a super giddy happy person gluing random pieces of paper from the trash together. You can always make something out of nothing. Since I am showing off the boys craft, here is my most favorite.

We made this salt dough ornament a couple of weeks ago, but it hits so close to home with me. Did you ever make these growing up? The boys really enjoyed getting their hands in the sticky salty dough. Poor Sawyer wanted to keep pinching it. It took us about 3 tries with him, but he did good! Both ornaments are very precise.

Make sure you stay warm tonight! I think the wind may blow our house down! Or...could it be a sign of 'the end' tomorrow?? :) Have a good night!

Be nice to me or I'll Blog about you...

Friends seemed short lived in your life the older you get. It use to bother me really bad and it would actually ruin my day because of it. I'm not going to lie, I still get bothered from time to time, but I've learned to let go of the foolishness and move on. I know certain girls who only want to be 'Facebook Friends' because they are too lazy to make the effort to get together, or friends who are your BFF and BAM, over night they quit talking to you. I know I have blogged and blogged about friends and FB, but I honestly do believe that you can't have friends if you are so involved in FB, FB ruins relationships. I have learned, especially from the last friendship, to never trust anyone except God and your spouse. Friends will drop you like flies and talk behind your back, but only you can stand up, and wipe your hands clean. I don't need caddy people like that in my life and nor do I want it around my family.

Facebook Christians: someone who presents themselves as Christians, and then seconds later put up a comment or status with F this and F that, and some on the most raunchy mouthy words.
Last night, Hubs and I were on FB late watching people. There was nothing on TV, so we figured we would get a laugh or two out of conversations we saw. Well, we came across this public picture and it was someone we knew saying "I'm a Christian, and throwing out scriptures." Well, first off throwing out scriptures isn't right either. If you read 1 or two verses and skip the chapter and you finger point what it means, you could be wrong. To know what the 1 or 2 vereses mean, you need to read more than just that. So these people were using what Gods says and verses to point out other people wrong doing and they way they live their life and twisting it up with the Bible. These Christians were calling these people who hate the Bible, hate God, and hate life-names. These Christians wanted to keep arguing about  the way these people want to live their life rather than worrying about themselves and praying for these non-Christians. If Christians were so consumed into reaching out to people and spreading Gods word like we are to do, like they are about putting people down, we would be pleasing to God. We would be doing what is right and what we are here on earth to do. We are to Glorify our Father. I'm not perfect and I know I do wrong, but I try my HARDEST to be a testimony. Do you think these Christian's were doing what we are called to do? Were they being a testimony? How do you think these non-Christians thought about "these Christians?"

I promise I am finished with my Rant, I can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel with friends, and FB. I can't believe how we Christians act. I always remind Hubs to be a testimony because there is ALWAYS someone watching how you act. Hope you enjoy your day and I will enjoy mine--of course, I will be spending it with my two little loves. Have a great day!!

My Day

The Holidays are rolling in, in fact, we have 5 days until Christmas Eve! How crazy is that?! Where does time go and how can we slow it down? Do you have plans or you staying home? We are going out of town to visit family, and I must say-I'm excited! I can't wait to watch Bentley and Sawyer play with their cousins and actually run with the big kids this year! It's always fun to see them happy. You know know the saying, "If Mama ain't happy, ain't no body happy?" Yes? No? Well, I think it should be said, "If kid 1 and 2 ain't happy, ain't no body happy," that's the truth! We will be visiting both sides of the family, but I'm bummed we aren't visiting the in-laws this year. Well, maybe just my sister-in-law and the kiddos. It was so nice to get away and do something new last year.

As of yesterday, I started watching my calorie intake again. I actually lost 20 pounds by just doing that when Hubs was gone, so since I've practically packed that back on-I need to lose it again. I never had a problem with my weight until after I had children. Maybe I am crazy about doing this before Christmas, and I know I will crash the diet 2 days next week, but I am ready for a change...again. It is so hard to eat healthy when your family doesn't, but you know when you are ready when you set your mind to it. Please keep me in your prayers as I fight this battle because I love food.

This morning when the boys and I woke up, we cleaned. Well, I cleaned and they messed up, lol! I organized a few things in the house, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and started laundry. Cleaning a house is a task, but I love it! I love to clean and organize. Maybe I'm a tad bit obsessive, but I love the feeling of a clean house. I think my boys do too :) Laundry on the other hand, I hate. We are a family of 4 and we dirty 2 loads A DAY! Is this normal? Not to mention, I also CD (cloth diaper), so that's 2 more loads added a day or every other day. I don't know how I would be able to keep up the house if I was working outside the home. I would be lost in a messy house with clothes piled to the ceiling trying to leap my way from room to room. Impossible.

Sounds like Bentley is up early from his nap, so I better go check. Enjoy your day!

Crafting Machines

Today felt like a drag. It has been raining most of the day and so gloomy out. Usually I love rainy days, but today was an exception. I wanted to curl up in my bed, watch a movie, and nap. How hard is that? Oh wait, very when you have two little boys running around! The weather doesn't feel like Christmas to me this year and it didn't last year either. Last year, we were in Florida for Christmas DUH, so of course the 90 degree weather was different than back home. The guys were were swimming in the pool on Christmas day! This year, 50's and 60's is warm temperatures for us. Please get cold soon! I want snow!

We are craft making machines! I love to make, paint, build, redo, and make up any DIY project! I literally stalk Pinterest and then the next day I'm making it. I share certain things on Facebook, but I've gotten to where I don't do that anymore because you have some people who literally copy every project you do. Hello stalkers! Pinterest is for everyone! Yesterday, in the midst of my bad day, the boys and I made a cute little Santa craft that only took minutes to do. Aren't they the cutest? Tomorrow, we are making another Santa craft that I use to do as a little girl. How fun!

We went to Wal-Mart earlier and I was ready to walk out before I walked in. When I see a parking lot full of cars (especially at Wal-Mart), I want to run in the opposite direction. I had to get ribbon for another craft that I am doing for our families and I couldn't even get down the aisle I needed to without squeezing in between people with huge beer guts and bad B.O. with two screaming kiddos. Help? Instead of 'squeezing,' I grabbed a darker red (needed light red) and ran. Yep! RAN! I use to love Wal-Mart and unfortunately I'm stuck going there, but it seems to me it gets trashier every year. My Mom tells me I'm just getting older and wiser and you see more. Maybe that's it, but I start dreading the trip there when my mind says, "We need to go!"

Are you ready for Christmas? We finished our Santa wrapping today and we are all set. I'm trying to find some neat cake ideas for Jesus's Birthday Cake, but I'm thinking I just may let the boys hand paint the cake with icing. Any ideas would be awesome!

I am hopping off, I have a craft to finish up and coffee to drink. I am looking forward to tomorrow already-not one thing planned besides grocery shopping. Have a good night!!

Under Construction

I am back again. How many times have you heard that? Too many? I'd say so! My page is under construction for a few days, so please bare with me. I am adding new pages to the site and of course, my photography business. I can't wait to share it with you!

Time to Get the Baby Clothes Down

As I sit here wiping tears from my eyes, I have decided to get rid of some of the boys clothes. I am a HUGE clutter bug when it comes to them and their baby stuff, but it's time to sell some and start fresh. I have about 8-10 containers full of clothes and they didn't even wear 1/4 of it. I'm looking into Consignment places that will buy for fair price. Most of their clothes are name brand, so I have high hopes. I think that will be my project next week...maybe. Our poor attic could use some space up there considering that's all that's up there. I mean, who doesn't want to ooh and aah over those cute clothes?!
Oh no! I just realized we have new neighbors. There goes my extra parking spot. I'm a little hesitant with new neighbors, only because we have 2 sour apples in our subdivision. Trash moves in and it makes the place look hideous! We are blessed to live in a nice subdivision and we don't need people trashing it up and making the value go down. When I walk out the door and see teeny boppers sitting on their roof smoking something good, then I have a problem with it. I do not want my kids around that. I did confront them and haven't seen them do it since. Now the woman's daughter has boyfriend drama and he jumps in his car and goes about 60 down our little street. Darn the little 16 year olds. Yes, I have a problem with that too. I am waiting for it to happen again before I approach them. Anyway, this family looks nice, clean, and perfect for this home. Maybe I should make some cookies and go introduce myself. Oh man! I just made myself feel like a Desperate Housewife :)
Tomorrow is Clemson Fan Appreciation Day and if the rain holds then we will be spending our afternoon there. In case you didn't know, we are huge Clemson fans! Last year, Bentley, had his picture taken with players and this year I hope for the same. I'm not looking forward to fighting the crowds, people get serious when it comes to autographs and greeting. I just want the a picture of the boys and the Tiger. If it ends up raining tomorrow, I think I will have the Hubs start cleaning and organizing our garage that's packed floor to roof with "move in" boxes. Yep! We are behind.
Next weekend, I am painting my living room! I am going from brown to turquoise. It's a far stretch in color, but I am tired of the old traditional walls. I think my modern lively side is coming out because I have been in a design mood lately. Not complaining, that's for the Hubs. He isn't wanting to paint, so I am taking matters in my own hands. Our kitchen is red, so I'm hoping the colors look as good as it does in my head! After that, I will be painting our 1/2 bathroom downstairs. I'm not sure on the color yet, any ideas? It's a persimmon orange right now. I am so excited!
Fall temperatures this week! How exciting! I'm ready for Fall and college football! I love to be outdoors when it's crisp out--especially chasing two lovely kiddos this year! My LO, Sawyer, hasn't tried to walk yet which is OK--I'm in no rush. He does however, say "Mama", "Dada", "DoJo (MoJo)", and "All done". He is only 11 months old. His Birthday is next month and I am doing Dr. Seuss theme! His plates and decor came in the mail the other day--can't wait to celebrate! I am Pinteresting cake ideas. I may be plain jane again this year and just do cupcakes. I feel like it's pointless when you slave for hours baking and spending a lot of money when no one shows. It's such a bummer!

Anyway, I'm getting ready for bed. Hope you are enjoying your weekend as much as I am!

Grumbling and Complaining

This morning when Hubs got home from work, I had breakfast waiting on him. I made homemade Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread that I found on Pinterest. I slaved in the kitchen for 2 hours, and didn't even phase him. Oh well. I tried. After breakfast, he decided to take the boys to Greenville Tech while I cleaned house. It's hard to keep a house cleaned with 2 kids under your feet, and no help. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I love Motherhood. I love having 2 adorable boys dependent on their Mom. I can't wait to have a house full of kiddos!
Days I feel like grumbling and complaining, I'm the most unpleasant person to be around. I let everything bug me and don't let things go (i.e. I always feel unappreciated). This is a huge fault I have and have been working on it very hard since Hubs came home in June. I let every frustration get to me, even the dumbest things like what people do on Facebook. I'm not sure if you can relate or not, but if so--you know how bothersome that can be. I feel so selfish and guilty for even acting like that. I was reading a FB post today and I came across this status,
"Ladies, Please pray for us. We are in the midst of a very serious, deadly spiritual battle in our home, as my husband is deployed. Our daughter struggles with an eating disorder called anorexia, and it is threatening to snuff the life out of her, even as I write. Test results have confirmed her heart is slowing down. The battle is intensifying as she is days away from getting into treatment. Our h
earts are breaking. Please pray for us in our time of weakness, pray for her life to be spared, for in this moment we know the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groaning too deep for Words. (Romans 8:26-27) Satan can't have her, she belongs to the Lord!!!
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:10-12 ~Sherry"

I feel so guilty for always thinking about myself when there is so much more to life than worrying why Maria is doing this on fb, Dolly wasting her money, Bob running around on his wife, and how the Jone's don't take care of their children. It's not my place to judge, although, I do. There is a verse that has always stuck to me growing up "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with this measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-2, but keep reading through 5. Makes you sit back and think. I can count on one hand many times I am guilty of this. There is so much going on and people to pray for and here I am worrying about you what you are doing and not myself. I'm a worry wart and I am trying hard not to let people like YOU bug me anymore :)

I'm hopping off--making Turkey Chili Taco Soup for supper tonight. I better get on it! Have a good day!
