Time to Get the Baby Clothes Down

As I sit here wiping tears from my eyes, I have decided to get rid of some of the boys clothes. I am a HUGE clutter bug when it comes to them and their baby stuff, but it's time to sell some and start fresh. I have about 8-10 containers full of clothes and they didn't even wear 1/4 of it. I'm looking into Consignment places that will buy for fair price. Most of their clothes are name brand, so I have high hopes. I think that will be my project next week...maybe. Our poor attic could use some space up there considering that's all that's up there. I mean, who doesn't want to ooh and aah over those cute clothes?!
Oh no! I just realized we have new neighbors. There goes my extra parking spot. I'm a little hesitant with new neighbors, only because we have 2 sour apples in our subdivision. Trash moves in and it makes the place look hideous! We are blessed to live in a nice subdivision and we don't need people trashing it up and making the value go down. When I walk out the door and see teeny boppers sitting on their roof smoking something good, then I have a problem with it. I do not want my kids around that. I did confront them and haven't seen them do it since. Now the woman's daughter has boyfriend drama and he jumps in his car and goes about 60 down our little street. Darn the little 16 year olds. Yes, I have a problem with that too. I am waiting for it to happen again before I approach them. Anyway, this family looks nice, clean, and perfect for this home. Maybe I should make some cookies and go introduce myself. Oh man! I just made myself feel like a Desperate Housewife :)
Tomorrow is Clemson Fan Appreciation Day and if the rain holds then we will be spending our afternoon there. In case you didn't know, we are huge Clemson fans! Last year, Bentley, had his picture taken with players and this year I hope for the same. I'm not looking forward to fighting the crowds, people get serious when it comes to autographs and greeting. I just want the a picture of the boys and the Tiger. If it ends up raining tomorrow, I think I will have the Hubs start cleaning and organizing our garage that's packed floor to roof with "move in" boxes. Yep! We are behind.
Next weekend, I am painting my living room! I am going from brown to turquoise. It's a far stretch in color, but I am tired of the old traditional walls. I think my modern lively side is coming out because I have been in a design mood lately. Not complaining, that's for the Hubs. He isn't wanting to paint, so I am taking matters in my own hands. Our kitchen is red, so I'm hoping the colors look as good as it does in my head! After that, I will be painting our 1/2 bathroom downstairs. I'm not sure on the color yet, any ideas? It's a persimmon orange right now. I am so excited!
Fall temperatures this week! How exciting! I'm ready for Fall and college football! I love to be outdoors when it's crisp out--especially chasing two lovely kiddos this year! My LO, Sawyer, hasn't tried to walk yet which is OK--I'm in no rush. He does however, say "Mama", "Dada", "DoJo (MoJo)", and "All done". He is only 11 months old. His Birthday is next month and I am doing Dr. Seuss theme! His plates and decor came in the mail the other day--can't wait to celebrate! I am Pinteresting cake ideas. I may be plain jane again this year and just do cupcakes. I feel like it's pointless when you slave for hours baking and spending a lot of money when no one shows. It's such a bummer!

Anyway, I'm getting ready for bed. Hope you are enjoying your weekend as much as I am!

Grumbling and Complaining

This morning when Hubs got home from work, I had breakfast waiting on him. I made homemade Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread that I found on Pinterest. I slaved in the kitchen for 2 hours, and didn't even phase him. Oh well. I tried. After breakfast, he decided to take the boys to Greenville Tech while I cleaned house. It's hard to keep a house cleaned with 2 kids under your feet, and no help. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I love Motherhood. I love having 2 adorable boys dependent on their Mom. I can't wait to have a house full of kiddos!
Days I feel like grumbling and complaining, I'm the most unpleasant person to be around. I let everything bug me and don't let things go (i.e. I always feel unappreciated). This is a huge fault I have and have been working on it very hard since Hubs came home in June. I let every frustration get to me, even the dumbest things like what people do on Facebook. I'm not sure if you can relate or not, but if so--you know how bothersome that can be. I feel so selfish and guilty for even acting like that. I was reading a FB post today and I came across this status,
"Ladies, Please pray for us. We are in the midst of a very serious, deadly spiritual battle in our home, as my husband is deployed. Our daughter struggles with an eating disorder called anorexia, and it is threatening to snuff the life out of her, even as I write. Test results have confirmed her heart is slowing down. The battle is intensifying as she is days away from getting into treatment. Our h
earts are breaking. Please pray for us in our time of weakness, pray for her life to be spared, for in this moment we know the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groaning too deep for Words. (Romans 8:26-27) Satan can't have her, she belongs to the Lord!!!
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:10-12 ~Sherry"

I feel so guilty for always thinking about myself when there is so much more to life than worrying why Maria is doing this on fb, Dolly wasting her money, Bob running around on his wife, and how the Jone's don't take care of their children. It's not my place to judge, although, I do. There is a verse that has always stuck to me growing up "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with this measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-2, but keep reading through 5. Makes you sit back and think. I can count on one hand many times I am guilty of this. There is so much going on and people to pray for and here I am worrying about you what you are doing and not myself. I'm a worry wart and I am trying hard not to let people like YOU bug me anymore :)

I'm hopping off--making Turkey Chili Taco Soup for supper tonight. I better get on it! Have a good day!

A Quick Hello

It's been a while since I've blogged and surely I miss it, but I've been busy with two rambunctious little boys! Hubs is back and everything is hectic plus chaotic thrown into the mix. My diet has crashed which I need to get back on that, I am starting a new career path (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Healthcare Management), and Hubs is hopefully getting into IPAP (Military Med School) in April which then, we would move to Texas. It's pretty much just my little family these days, no friends.
We have been looking for a new Church home closer to home, so we can be more involved and I feel like it's exhausting and frustrating. It's been 4 months of visiting and we have I think we may have found it. We visited 5 Point Church Sunday and we actually enjoyed it and felt welcome. I am praying for God to show us a Church Home to grow and get involved. I'm really excited to see what He has planned.
Hubs and I have been battling the big decision a lot lately...when to try for number 3 and we keep going back and forth. Why is number 3 so hard to decide? We definitely want more, but not sure if it's the right timing. 'What If'  Hubs does get into the Med School in April? What would happen? We would be moving at 37 weeks of pregnancy into a house and starting a new life. That's just too much. But! 'What If' he gets accepted in October instead of April? Then what? It's almost like we wasted time the first year and then we would have to hold off again until we moved and got settled. Something to pray and think about. Decisions...
We have been doing a few Pinterest projects lately. Our bed and night stands was an ugly oak color that needed some TLC, so I bought turquoise paint and did a makeover-made it rustic. I absolutely love it! Hubs thought the color was tacky, but really it's only what the wife thinks, right?! LOL My other 2 projects are my top fav! I (with my brothers help) made a Wine Bottle Rack from an old rake and a Wine Bottle Holder from old wooden pallets.

I am getting a tad bit addicted to projects, i better stop! We actually have a coffee table that's almost finished and we (Hubs and I) made it from an old window pane. I am hopping off to catch up on my DVR, have a good night and see you back tomorrow! Nite all!
