A Long Week

Hello Guys! This week seems like it has taken FOREVER to pass by! Even though I am a stay at home wife/mom, I still look forward to the weekend! Saturday is Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Church for all the women! We are getting our nails done, massages, FOOD, and a speaker is coming! All kinds of neat things! I am pretty excited-I need a good pampering. Bentley had a rough day today, which made my day pretty hectic with one fussy baby.

The Hubs has practically been gone this whole week, working 2 extra shifts-I miss him. I think I have seen him twice this week and it has been at night, right at bedtime. Our Anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks and we had plans to go somewhere, but I think we may stay home and put that money towards debt.

Random: I have brownies cooking right now and they smell good!

You know what bugs me the most? When you are friends with someone on FB and they decide to take you off because you "update your status too much" and decide to add you back a year later when they break up with their g/f just to to be "nosey" on your page? People are stupid. I was stupid for accepting the request, knowing he was up to being a dern nose butt! That would be the Hubs weird friends...from Fl.

Halloween is this weekend, what are you doing? I think we MAY take Bentley to a trunk or treat to collect some candy, but we haven't made the decision to go or not to go. Well, I'm getting off, Brownies are finished. You guy have a good night!

Blogger Down

Hey guys! Blogger has been down the past couple of days, so I haven't had the chance to blog! Hope you guys had a good weekend, can't believe tomorrow is Monday already! Yesterday, Mama and I went to a 31 party at a friend of ours-ended up staying 8 hours...LOL. When you get women together, we all have a good time! Bentley came along with the ride and ended up being a ham, LOL. Thirty-One is one of my favorite types of parties anyway, so I took the next step up...I am now a Thirty-One Consultant! I am very excited, so if you want to have a show at your house, PLEASE book a party with me Thirty-One Party!

Tonight the family and I are watching with Nightmare on Elm Street-we usually watch a bunch of horror movies during the month of October, but we haven't had the time this year. Have you guys been to any haunted houses or trails this year? We wanted to go to a trail of two, but we really don't have the extra funds to waste money on this year, meh.

Did you guys try the recipe for Can't Resist Thursday?! How did it turn out? I have a delicious fun desert for this week as well! I am debating on saving ti for next week and do a craft this week-undecided.

DON'T DRINK THE WATER! It seems like the swirl is in the water here lately. I had 23 friends pregnant during the same time as me and now either they are starting over or more friends are pregnant!

The Hubs has a busy week this week. He is working an extra shift, so that means OT for us! Yippee! He worked an extra shift the other day on his long week, so it seemed like he was gone the entire week last week. Usually I complain about, but I think I am starting to get over it! Well, the movie has started! See you back for Hubby Monday tomorrow!

Can't Resist Thursday

Pumpkin Patch Puffs

1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
3 1/2 cups Reese's Puffs cereal

orange food coloring (or equal parts red and yellow food coloring)
pretzel sticks
green gumdrops

In a large pan melt corn syrup and sugar on medium high heat until sugar is dissolved. Turn off the heat and stir in peanut butter, white chocolate chips, and orange food coloring. Add the orange food coloring to desired color. I like the Wilton brand colors because they are very bright. You want to mix it quickly so that it doesn't cool down too fast. If it does cool down too fast turn the heat back on for a second. Stir in the Reese's Puffs and coat as well as you can. Don't worry, when you form your pumpkins it will get more incorporated.

Let the mixture cool slightly.

When it is cool enough to handle start making golf sized pumpkin balls, forming well with your hands.
Form them around the pretzel sticks for pumpkin stems. Place on waxed paper to set.

Quarter the green gumdrops and use two slices for the pumpkin leaves.

Makes 15 pumpkins.

Opinions Matter

Today has been a lazy day for me, quite boring. The leaves are changing colors and falling, it's about time! Bentley and I decided to be lazy today...we have been running around so much here lately, we haven't had a chance to sit at home. I got a little behind in keeping up with his record book, so I decided to write in it today. As I was flipping through the pages that had already been filled out, I got a little emotional. It's hard to believe that Bentley is almost 4 months old. Looking back on the memories, I miss being pregnant, feeling him inside me, and making the first few hours full of memories. Everyone tells me that time flies by and boy do I believe that! God has blessed the Hubs and I in so many ways! I love being a Mommy and a wife-I thought it was get tiring, but each day gets better and better! I don't think "better" even describes how I feel.

Money. Stress. ARGH!! I hate money and I hate debt! Who does? I hate being in debt up my throat and it fills like nothing gets paid...! You guys may not feel this way or not even be in this predicament, but it's a common problem to most people. I have applied for a job-praying I make the right decision because it isn't fair to Bentley that way I can get some debt paid off. The Hubs works hard, but sometimes I feel like working gets you know where. Like I said, I hate debt!

Random: Bentley has figured out how to put his ENTIRE fist in his mouth and choke on it!

Bentley is almost out of size 3 diapers, is this normal?! I feel like my child is HUGE! lol! Not to mention, when he poops, there isn't a diaper left, LOL!

Something I shared on FB:

Why care about "bullying" now?? Oh wait! Is it because homosexuals get "bullied" it has to on every single headline? Really?! Bullying has been going on for a lifetime and no one has tried to fix it, so why make it an importance when a homo gets picked on?! This country is so screwed up! a homosexual kills himself to make a point and now headlines make it clear that homosexuals shouldn't get bullied...if bullying was such an issue-it should be brought to attention a different way. I mean, the debate that's going on right now had to bring "gays and bullying" up.It's their choice to go through what they desire. As for homosexuals, God created man and woman, not woman and woman, or man and man. So again, if they want to be gay, they should take put downs like every other person in this world. We are to love, but we don't have to like what they do. If the government is going to pitch a fit about gays and discrimination, then they should put God back in schools and everything they have taking out. If gays are going to have more rights than Christianity and us Americans who stand firm in what we believe in then why is "bullying" such a huge problem. Now, as far as bullying in general, it should be stopped, but it shouldn't be stopped because a gay kills himself.

Hubby Monday

I'm writing to you from my handy dandy... Blackberry. It will be short and sweet.

The temperature has dropped,  the leaves have fallen, and apple cider is in the thermos. I thoroughly enjoy being out here in the mountains. I miss hitting the beach for winter swells, but fall in the mountains if pretty nice I'm not going to lie.

Not much has really gone on since last week. Bentley has grown tremendously! I can't wait til he is big enough to walk around and get into everything. I can't wait to wrestle with him. We wrestled a bit today, well more like daddy being ridiculous and Bentley laughing. We spent the morning together while mommy caught up on some desperately needed sleep. She hasn't been sleeping well do when she was out, we were going to bother her. I'm shocked though, Bentley was laughing and screaming like crazy.

So our move has halted momentarily. These past few weeks have been crazy with friends visiting, ptown festival, and our fall festival. Oh... And by the way. I am the 2 time winner of the annual fall in the mountains chili cook off. Ha ha. Megan cooked it last year, so technically she won. I made the chili myself because I dorked around and wasted time. Megan wasn't to sure about my chili, but it was enough to win! I was pretty shocked and stoked to say the least.

Well, my eyes have just gained about ten lbs, so I may lay down. Ya'll have a good night and enjoy your evening.

Decisions

Most of you know that I am a volunteer firefighter and if you didn't, you do now. I've been volunteering for 4 years now and it's my hobby that I have enjoyed very much. I guess I would categorize it as "me" time. I always had my nose up in the FD until I got pregnant and it limited me to almost everything of things to do. I would live for rodeo and FD, but now I have a new hobby and thats being a Mommy to Bentley. I am not going to do anything that would jeopardize my time away from him if the Hubs is away as well.

The past couple of months The Hubs has brought up joining the FD and running calls. Now, I told him when we first met that was my thing to do myself and to have father and daughter time (My dad vol. as well). He understood that and that was it. Now that my brother has joined and is making a career out of it, the Hubs is wanting to do it. It irritates me in a way because he has his "go-to" spot and that's called work...I have nothing. He gets to have his time away from living in 4 walls. I brought up how I would like to have "me" time every so often because I need to give myself a break for a few hours of being Mommy and do something for myself. He doesn't really understand how I feel this way...he isn't going to feel that way because he is gone for three 24 hour shifts a week, so he has time away. Now, I'm not complaining what so ever, I LOVE being a Mommy and wouldn't trade it or anything, but I would like a Moms day out or so.

Since we moved up here, the Hubs has been bringing up running calls and joining ERT-go figure. I'm tired of hearing him say that, so I could care less about anything anymore. So I called Chief and told him that I am turning my gear in because the Hubs is talking about joining and someone has to watch Bentley and I'm not going to drop him off with Mama every time a tone drops-it's not fair to him. Chief said, "OK, but hang onto your bag in case you want to run calls when Christian doesn't." I have given up something I love and time for me, but maybe it's for the best, I don't want to consume my time away from Bentley. The Hubs can have his job, ERT, FD, School, and whatever else he feels like he should do. Being a Mom is satisfying enough for me even if it means I have no hobby anymore.

I have applied for a few jobs just to get out and make some money to help pay bills off, but I don't want to leave Bentley. If it doesn't work with the Hubs schedule the Hospital can forget that...it's just to give me something to do.

Bentley hasn't napped AT ALL today and has fussed! I think maybe he is teething, but I really don't know. It is a little frustrating that he will not nap because he doesn't know that he will feel better if he does. He finally coo's and giggles at everything which lights up my day. I could be in the worse mood and that smile will do a complete 180. Hope you guys have a good night, I'm going to sew a few things. Have a good night!

A late Hubby Monday

So as Megan said earlier, What a weekend! We had a jammed, slammed, action packed weekend. Ok, so maybe its wasn't as action packed as I may make it out to be, but it sure was busy.

Friday morning our friend Pam came in. She spent the whole day with Meg and Mr. Bentley. I was working for the firsth half of the shift, then came home the back half so I could spend a little time with my family and friends. We started the weekend off with a Bonfire and smores! It was pretty nice to feel the heat of a fire, the smell of the smoke, and the taste of marshmallows and chocolate.

The next morning we took Bentley and Pam to the "Pumpkin Festival" in Pumpkintown. Now only in SC will you have places named Pumpkintown, or Possum Kingdom. Regardless, it was a great time. My favorite part was Bentley getting lost in the pumpkin patch. It was adorable. Pictures are all over.

After that we had fall pictures taken for Bentley. They look AMAZING!! Sure Jennifer does a great job, but its because Bentley is so darn good looking. He gets it from his da.... Mommy! LOL!!
Wild Wings was where we ended our night for dinner. It was swamped downtown. We saw a ton of people under the influence of alcohol, even some people we knew.

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. Apparently I missed that memo. We went to Sky Top Orchards in NC to pick apples as a family. Well heres the dilemma. It being the middle of Oct. all of the apple tress closest to the entrance were bare. So were the trees a little further, and a little further than that. ALL THE WAY down a number of hills were the most amazing apples. I didn't realize there were that many types of apples. A lady and husband walked by us at one point and she asked what kind of apples we had. I told her "round". Her husband laughed hysterically, but she didn't take it quite so well. Oh well. Me and Ben pushed this wagon up a ridiculous mountain trek with 3 baskets and the rest of the junk on. It made me realize one thing, I'm sure in shape. The shape of an apple!!! I need to hit the weights and hit the trails. Overall it was an enjoyable day with everyone.

We got back to a slow sleepy afternoon. We cooked dinner and then finished the night off with another bonfire. So how about them miners huh. I started really thinking about that situation and it made me wonder. How many times have mines collapsed here in the states and after days the miners are dead, and the bodies almost never recovered. The mines in Chile held up for almost 3 months, they were able to get food and water to the miners, and they eventually organized a re-drill and rescue. Man, and here I thought we were the smartest country.... (sarcasm). Well, I hope the powers that be were taking notes for similar situations here in the states.

Ok, so Megan is starting a pretty cool new project. I will let her blog about it when she is ready, but its pretty cool. I'm not going to lie. Ya'll have a good night.

All in a Nut Shell

What a weekend! Sorry for not blogging, but I was actually enjoying myself! Pam flew in on Friday and we spent most of the weekend running on time! Went to the Pumpkintown Festival on Saturday (which was HOT), had Bentley's portraits done by jcatherinephotography, and went to Fall for Greenville. Sunday, we all went to Sky Top to go apple picking Sky Top with the entire family and Pam! I think that was the first time in a long time that we actually all did something as a family! Went to have Bentleys Halloween Costume portraits done today which turned out good-can't wait to get them on the 22nd! Pam left today, which I actually shed a few tears. I hate goodbyes especially to good friends. In the few days she was here, we became very close friends-she is more of a friend than most of all my friends. The Hubs says it's true and he wishes we had friends like her here. I must say, I haven't had a time like that in over a year. Although Bentley totally decided to get off his schedule, he did really well!

Tomorrow, we have his eye appointment check-up. I called the eye group to get him in sooner because his eye has been drooping more and has been staying swollen. Hopefully, Dr will say it's still normal for his age and to come back in 3 months. He said at last appointment that if his eye is still like this at 6 months old, he will have surgery. I have an appointment following that for my toes! I have ingrown toenails that are getting cut out-thank goodness! Yes, I'm a little nervous, but it won't be my first time doing this.

Today is supposed to be Hubby Monday, but unfortunately my Hubby is on shift and keeping busy. If he has a minute in his schedule, maybe he will write something short and sweet-who knows.

Sorry this blog is short and sorry for leaving you guys for a few days!
I am heading outside for a little bonfire and then I'm out! I have a busy day tomorrow!

Can't Resist Thursday

Fried Pumpkin Cheesecake

2 Cups of self-rising flour
2/3 Cup of milk
1/4 cup of Crisco

Mix together. Roll the dough flat and make 6'' circles. It should make about 10 circles.

(or you can by the pre-made biscuit dough at store)

You can make your own Pumpkin spice filling or do it this way:

1 can of Pumpkin Pie filling
1 8oz cream cheese

Mix together

Use 1 tablespoon of filling and put in middle of circle. Close it up...it should look like a half moon.

Put in frying pan with a little bit of oil and fry them. If you have a deep fryer-use that to deep fry them.

I must say, it is VERY delicious!

You can put powdered sugar on top, sugar cinnamon, or even apple butter (we did apple butter-delish)!

Tomorrow will be better

Today was an annoying day to say the least. I went shopping with Anna yesterday and bought me some jeans. The woman TOLD me they will not shrink, so I took her word. I came home and washed them-they shrunk! I was pretty upset and got discouraged...again. The Hubs and I took them back and swapped them out for the next size up, so they can shrink to the size I am. Whoooo-not.

As most of you know, I do not get a long with my MIL.She was in town a few weeks ago-faked a panic attack to get the Hub's attention because she wasn't getting it (long story, but it turned out she didn't even have one). Well, she has caused marital problems with he and I, so he isn't having anything to do with her for a while to work on US because she is literally--crazy. Today, she sent a "perfect written" text to Christian saying how she fell and she thought she broke her arm. What does he do? He gives in...again...which is kind of understandable. If you fall and hurt your arm...you would call, right? Not text. I personally think she did it for attention again because she hasn't gotten attention from the Hubs in a week. Why strive for attention in the most stupid way? If I were Kourtney Kardashian, I would say, "Psycho." ...stupid.

Tomorrow, I am going to the Hospital to have blood drawn for insurance crap with the Hubs work. I'm not looking forward to it at all and am scared to death. I don't mind having my blood drawn, but I am paranoid for whatever the reason. Bentley will be going with...another way to mess up Bentley's sleep schedule.

I put Bentley down tonight at 9 **yay!** and was finally relieved that he went to sleep. Not 15 minutes into me time, the Hubs wakes him up. Now, I get upset when people have no respect for Bentley sleeping-it's all about them. Well, he doesn't even care that he was asleep and woke him up by talking loud! When Bentley wakes up-he's up. I get him out of the crib and rock him as he cries. When he doesn't sleep-I stress. I cried as he cried tonight-stressing about how I can't seem to get him to rest and I can't rest. I feel like it's only me that tries so hard with him and his schedule. I like it when the Hubs is on shift and family is at work-just Bentley and I. Days like that is perfect because he knows his routine. I've been on the emotional side lately, don't know why. Sometimes I think maybe post pardon, but I don't think thats it. I really don't know, but I do know that my hormones are out of wack.

I'm so proud of my brother, Ben. He is making something of himself and starting his career early. He finished his 1152 firefighter class and first responder. He's growing into a grown man and I hate it! I wish he could have stayed small forever like Bentley :( He's the best brother and wonderful Uncle. Love ya Gilligan and congrats!

Well, I think I am going to go hop in the shower and hit the hay early tonight. Ya'll have a good night!

Shopped till I dropped...

How did you guys like Hubby Monday? I love it when I see all the responses I get on FB and knowing who reads my Blog! YAY! :) Thank you!!

Bentley and I had a wonderful day today! My little boy is back! The antibiotics have finally washed his junk out and he is happy :) He and I started the day off by helping Papa with the farrier, Charlie. Bentley kept kicking Thunders nose like he was a toy on a bouncer, love to see him with the horses. Afterwards, we came in and got ready to meet Anna and Grant for a day of shopping. We went to the mall and spent 6 hours walking and looking around, I walked out with hardly anything! I bought me a pair of jeans, so I'm stoked about that! I can officially say that I shopped 'til I dropped! I am sore from walking all day!

Have you ever had a "friend" problem? Well, I do. I have a select few that I trust whole heartedly, but sometimes I wonder if they really consider me as a friend or just use me for company? Make sense? It is so hard to find a Christian couple that are fun to hang out with, half of them don't go to Church (we beg a few to come visit us at Church and it's like a chore for them to come). It seems like the only time when our couple friends want to hang out is when Christian and I are last resort. If they can't get together with someone other or we beg to see them--then they do. I am at the point to where I don't care anymore, I'm not worrying about them anymore.

Random: The leaves are changing! YESSSSS! I can't wait until the color comes out a little bit more, so I can take pics! :)

Okay, so I have been stalking this womans page on Etsy for a knitted pumpkin hat for about a month now. It was $24 and then shipping would be $2 more. I almost ordered it last week, but I figured somehow I probably wouldn't get it for Bentley portraits on Saturday. When I went shopping today, I FOUND THE SAME HAT for $11!! YES! I am happy like a kid at Christmas time! .........I wish I could knit hats and booties...grrr!

Do you guys watch Teen Mom? I feel so bad for Gary--Amber treats him like crap! As he tries and cries to work things out...I cry with him and Farrah. I can't imagine Sophia growing up with no Dad. When I see Bentley look at the Hubs, I see love--I couldn't imagine not seeing it. I am not to sure about Maci and Kyles relationship...kinda odd. She's a good Mom and has been a good Mommy to Bentley.

Well, I am going to hop off! I am going to finish watching Teen Mom and then I'm off to bed! Hubs will be home in the am! Hope you guys have a wonderful night and I will see you back here in the am!

Hubby Monday

So this is the first "Hubby Monday" I have written since.... I became a DAD! These last three months have been the most amazing experience of my life. Its been an incredible change, something that I would not give anything in the world to change.
First, let me stary by saying that I have the most amazing wife anyone could ask for. She is the greatest mother a child could have. Sure maybe I'm a little biased.. but she is. Megan indured 9 months of pregnancy, and in 20 minutes gave birth to our wonderful son Bentley. He wasn't the smallest baby in the hospital by any means. Not only was it only 20 minutes, but it was without so much as a scream, and while watching the CMA awards.
Megan has gone above and beyond any models of what a mother could be. Our son relies on her more than any other person. She is his provider, until he starts eating real food. Ha Ha.
I have had people say over and over how life will never be the same. Well... It won't. It only gets better. For those of you who have children, you know the feeling I'm talking about. Its a feeling that one can almost hardly explain, a love that is unbreakable. Most of you know I work EMS and am gone for 24 hours at a time. Not only do I hate being away from Bentley and Megan, one thing I do love is to come home to him. I love when I come home and he is smiling all over his face, he laughs and coo's, and almost cackles. It makes everything else disappear. The innocent smile of my beautiful son, means the world to me. He truly is the greatest son any father could ask for.
I know you all know my son like your family, considering how much of his life is on facebook and twitter. He's growing so incredibly fast. It almost blows me away. Meg wants him to stay little and cuddly for the rest of his life, but I'm ready for him to get bigger. I cant wait to take him around when he is walking and talking. Oh I have so long to wait for that. I truly have an amazing family. A beautiful son, and the MOST amazingly beautiful wife.
Other notes, lol. We have moved out of Easley and our living on the farm. We are building so this is going to be a fun time for us. We are in the process of getting our horses back to riding status, getting Bentley used to the mountains, and hopefully getting in some well deserved outdoor time. I really do enjoy being out here. Its much different than the life I am used to, sand, waves, jimmy buffett. Now it's mountains, mosquitoes, and horses. Its a different life, but its a great one.
Things are really going good for us now. Life has fallen into place with Bentley coming in to this world. I thank God for the blessing he has given Megan and me, and I am really stoked to see what our future holds. Thanks for reading, and keep following the life and times of our little family. Night everyone.

Candid

I apologize for the quick get away earlier. Bentley cat napped for about 25 minutes. We went outside and took a few candid shots since tomorrow he will be 3 months old. He was a little grump, but I don't blame him-I am worse than he is when I'm sick-couldn't go out from under the barn because it started to rain.

A friend on FB suggested that I should enter him in the Baby Gap since they are taking casting calls right now. I tried to upload the picture on the top left side, but the mega pixel was too much. I am currently searching my photos for a cute picture that will takenthis ones place. Should I put a Gap brand on him and do a picture or does it now really matter? I would LOVE to have your input on that. This week is going to be a busy week! Our friend Pam, comes in on Friday!

I had a few of you message me about the Pumpkintown Festival and wanted to know what it is. It is a country, bluegrass festival. There are about 50 (...maybe more) tents set up with different vendors and all. You pretty much walk around enjoy the aroma of BBQ cooking, banjo in the background, and look around all kinds of crafts. If you are not a "crafty" person, this isn't for you. Not to mention...CUTE decor :) If you have any questions about anything, comment or FB me. October 16th is Fall in the Mountains (takes place at our house...held at the barn) and you are more than welcome to join us as well! You can locate that on my FB event page or message me with details as well!

I am getting pumpkin fever! It is October 3 and I don't even have a pumpkin yet! I usually have one by the 1st! I guess we will take Bentley to pick out his very first one either at the pumpkin patch or at the festival.

I don't know if you guys remember me doing "Hubby Monday" and Can't Resist Thursdays, but they are back! You guys have a good rest of the evening!

Megan

Hello :)

Today is the day to have a bonfire! It is cold up here on the mountain! Last night was ROUGH with sick little Bentley. I haven't slept at all--hopefully the bed will call my name early tonight. The Dr told me if he was to take the antibiotic on an empty stomach, then he would be fussy. Well, I gave him his meds and went to feed-wasn't hungry. What?! Bentley is always hungry! I told Mama right then that "tonight" was going to be a long night...and it was. I tried everything last night and nothing would satisfy him, hopefully tonight will be better.

Went to NC to visit family yesterday, which was fun! I love visiting with them :) Bentley did really good, but he did sleep most of the time we were there. How about them Tigers? I watched the game on ESPN 2 at my Aunts; the game was very disappointing! I had the gut feeling from the first kick off that the game wasn't going to be so good...and it wasn't.

Wednesday, I have to go to the Hospital for a physical-yuck! The insurance is making all PC EMS employees have a physical done, so that is why I have to go...otherwise-no. Not looking forward to it at all.

The Hubs, Daddy, and Ben are cleaning up around the property to get ready for the Fall in the Mountains. While they are doing that-I have Bentley in his Carhart overalls and camo jacket and I think I may take some candid shots outside...I wish the leaves would hurry up and change! Ooops! Bentley is up! I'll be back later!

...long day.

Had a rough night last night, Bentley is still sick. His schedule is so out of wack, he has decided NOT to nap. Thankfully, he went to bed around 10ish according to schedule, so maybe he will stick to his bed time schedule. The Hubs and I layed in bed for a while today, stayed busy with Bentley, so we caught up on sleep. The Hubs decided to take me out to a movie tonight--we watched You Again. It was a cute movie, but I thought it was going to be better. October is going to be a busy month with good movies coming out! Whoo Hoo!

Thank you all my readers to who responded to my last Blog. I actually got a lot of applause for sharing what I believe in. I thought I would get a lot trash mail, but I was surprised. Thank you :)

Tomorrow, Mama and I (and Bentley) are going to NC to visit family. We are trying to decide on going to Sky Top, but we may save that for another day. I LOVE going apple picking--just hate pulling the wagon up the hill, LOL! I am glad Fall weather is blowing in--can't wait to bundle Bentley up in his cute clothes! Tomorrow is supposed to be 77 degrees-what happened to 58? Tonight is supposed to be 49 degrees which is perfect...now only if it would stay that way.

One more week until our friend Pam comes to visit from St. Pete. We all will have a busy weekend next week! Pumpkintown Festival is next Saturday (9th)-looking forward to the bluegrass music! Bentley will be wearing his pumpkin costume :) Well, I am getting off the comp. I think I may take advantage of sleep while I can.
