Happy New Years Eve!

I know I said in my previous Blog that I will see you next year, but I wanted to share some pictures from 2012.

Hubs at Drill.
He's now a soldier.
Bentleys first time seeing his Daddy in over 4 months.
Sawyers first time seeing his Daddy in over 4 months.
Sawyer learned how to crawl!
Bentley turned 2!!
Bentley turned 2!!
Sawyer turned 1!!
Sawyer turned 1!!
Sawyer started walking!
I even got a decent picture of these two this year!
I even had 3 out of the norm hair colors this year!
We even added another addition!

This is just a little bit of what our year was like. It was a long 2012 for me,  I can't wait to see what 2013 brings. My kiddos hit a lot of milestones, as well as, growing their own little personalities. My goal for 2013 is to be a better Wife, Mom, Photographer, and Blogger. Hope you have a wonderful night tonight as we bring in the new year!

Happy New Years Eve!

We are Expecting!

Finally! I can't keep quiet any longer! We are expecting baby #3! I was wanting to wait a little bit longer before we told everyone, but I am showing and Bentley is telling everyone. The poor child is just too excited! Although, he keeps telling everyone it's a little sister, maybe he feels the vibe, lol! We finally broke the news to my entire family, and then we made it 'Facebook official' yesterday. I didn't plan on telling anyone outside of family and just let them see it on Facebook because I literally don't talk to anyone. Not a single person-maybe once or twice a month if I'm lucky. We were surprised again (twice now!), but it couldn't be better timing. I am, however, praying Hubs doesn't deploy in July because it would be hard on me-not saying I can't do it. I'm glad he didn't get selected a few months ago on a random count! I didn't know they did that! Anyway, I do not think we are telling the gender and I am debating on the due date. At least put it on Facebook because I don't want everyone knowing...I think lol! I can't wait to meet this little Squishy Miller! I am excited of course, but it makes it soooooo much better when Bentley (the oldest in the picture), is so excited and that's all he talks about. THAT is what makes me feel whole. I love being pregnant after the morning sickness of course, which it hasn't yet decided to leave my body--Hubs made my day by telling me there is something about pregnancy that makes me so much more beautiful. Daaaaaw :D LOL!

Hubs and I are having a date night in. He went to grab the delicious food-which is why I have time to Blog away my little heart! I made chocolate covered kiwi, bananas, and strawberries for our little night. Since we have children, we can't just jump in the car and go just anywhere, so we bring the romantic evening to mi casa, lol! I'm looking forward to it, mainly because I want fruit!
...and spend time with my Hubs of course.

Tomorrow is the last day of 2012! This year had rough patches in it like most years do. Hubs was gone for 4 months Military, so other than the dreading months before he left and when he was gone-the following months made up for it. Bentley started talking so much this year, Sawyer learned how to crawl, walk, and talk. We found a new Church home close to our house and really really love it. I crave to be there and can't get enough of it. I realized there is more to life than worrying about the small things and enjoy family. I can't even begin to express how blessed I am, it's indescribable. Not to mention, we found out about Squishy Miller.

2013, we are hoping to be at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Please keep us in your prayers as Hubs tries to get into the Med School down there. We are hoping to already be down there by the time Squishy Miller is born, but it's only in Gods timing. Please, keep us on your prayer list.

Please keep safe tomorrow night as we enter into a new calendar year. See you next year!

Merry Christmas a Little Late!

Hope you all had a good Christmas! I'm sorry I am a little late, but we have been so busy with family, traveling, and celebrating. We woke up early Christmas morning because Hubs had to work that day. He wasn’t even supposed to work Holidays this year, but you never know I suppose. Oh well, we still enjoyed it and nothing was different from any other year. The boys really liked what Santa brought them; Bentley, is now at the age to where he knows whom Santa is, so that made it ten times more fun!
Here's a few pictures from our Christmas Day:

Santa Came!

Bentley opening his gifts...

Sawyer opening his gifts...

A little bit of Bentleys Christmas...

A little bit of Sawyers Christmas...
Santa even brought MoJo Christmas!

Hubs got a GoPro Hero 3.

Hubs got a LCD Headlight.

He got season 1&2 of Walking Dead and a CD.

FINALLY got a new camera case!!

I've been needing a mouse for my MacBook Air :)

Fun.

That's just a little bit from our Christmas. What did Santa bring you? Hubs and I also got a nice gift together, maybe I will share that in another Blog sometime this week. Hubs had a nasty stomach bug on Christmas Eve, so while we were in NC with family, he pretty much slept and puked-not the joys of Christmas, lol!

So much has gone on this week, I don't know where to begin! Exciting new things I might add. First off, Jesus's Birthday, Hubs has a week off from work-woo hoo, we are having a surprise 60th Birthday Party for my Dad Saturday, and then NewYears festivities! What a week! I'm pretty sure my Dad knows the family cookout is actually a surprise party for him, but then again he's so clueless, lol!

I am leaving you so quickly today. I have to bake for my Dads party tomorrow! Ya'll have a good weekend!!

Another Rainy Day...

Another rainy day! I love it! I opened the door and had to gasp for air because it was so cold, it knocked the air out of me. We did absolutely nothing today! Well, take that back-I washed 2 loads of laundry. I forgot what it was like to actually sit on your behind and sleep when the boys do. The house is spotless, so we had nothing to do. Ok-take that back too, lol! I can think of PLENTY of stuff to do, but we chose to spend the day relaxing. Tomorrow will probably be a laundry day that I am already dreading.

I will be glad when tomorrow comes and goes. I am tired of reading about the '2012 Apocalypse.' I have read so many scared status's on Facebook, I'm about to sign out until December 22. So many people are scared to death and asking other's on Facebook, "what do you think?!?" "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." -Mark 13:32 Did you know that 10 Percent of the world population fears the 2012 Apocalypse? Click here to see for yourself, but don't let it get to your head. What if something DOES happen? Are you ready? Do YOU know where you are going?

Here is the crafty craft the boys and I made yesterday. I try to do crafts with them a couple of times a week. I am a crafty person, I'd be a super giddy happy person gluing random pieces of paper from the trash together. You can always make something out of nothing. Since I am showing off the boys craft, here is my most favorite.

We made this salt dough ornament a couple of weeks ago, but it hits so close to home with me. Did you ever make these growing up? The boys really enjoyed getting their hands in the sticky salty dough. Poor Sawyer wanted to keep pinching it. It took us about 3 tries with him, but he did good! Both ornaments are very precise.

Make sure you stay warm tonight! I think the wind may blow our house down! Or...could it be a sign of 'the end' tomorrow?? :) Have a good night!

Be nice to me or I'll Blog about you...

Friends seemed short lived in your life the older you get. It use to bother me really bad and it would actually ruin my day because of it. I'm not going to lie, I still get bothered from time to time, but I've learned to let go of the foolishness and move on. I know certain girls who only want to be 'Facebook Friends' because they are too lazy to make the effort to get together, or friends who are your BFF and BAM, over night they quit talking to you. I know I have blogged and blogged about friends and FB, but I honestly do believe that you can't have friends if you are so involved in FB, FB ruins relationships. I have learned, especially from the last friendship, to never trust anyone except God and your spouse. Friends will drop you like flies and talk behind your back, but only you can stand up, and wipe your hands clean. I don't need caddy people like that in my life and nor do I want it around my family.

Facebook Christians: someone who presents themselves as Christians, and then seconds later put up a comment or status with F this and F that, and some on the most raunchy mouthy words.
Last night, Hubs and I were on FB late watching people. There was nothing on TV, so we figured we would get a laugh or two out of conversations we saw. Well, we came across this public picture and it was someone we knew saying "I'm a Christian, and throwing out scriptures." Well, first off throwing out scriptures isn't right either. If you read 1 or two verses and skip the chapter and you finger point what it means, you could be wrong. To know what the 1 or 2 vereses mean, you need to read more than just that. So these people were using what Gods says and verses to point out other people wrong doing and they way they live their life and twisting it up with the Bible. These Christians were calling these people who hate the Bible, hate God, and hate life-names. These Christians wanted to keep arguing about  the way these people want to live their life rather than worrying about themselves and praying for these non-Christians. If Christians were so consumed into reaching out to people and spreading Gods word like we are to do, like they are about putting people down, we would be pleasing to God. We would be doing what is right and what we are here on earth to do. We are to Glorify our Father. I'm not perfect and I know I do wrong, but I try my HARDEST to be a testimony. Do you think these Christian's were doing what we are called to do? Were they being a testimony? How do you think these non-Christians thought about "these Christians?"

I promise I am finished with my Rant, I can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel with friends, and FB. I can't believe how we Christians act. I always remind Hubs to be a testimony because there is ALWAYS someone watching how you act. Hope you enjoy your day and I will enjoy mine--of course, I will be spending it with my two little loves. Have a great day!!

My Day

The Holidays are rolling in, in fact, we have 5 days until Christmas Eve! How crazy is that?! Where does time go and how can we slow it down? Do you have plans or you staying home? We are going out of town to visit family, and I must say-I'm excited! I can't wait to watch Bentley and Sawyer play with their cousins and actually run with the big kids this year! It's always fun to see them happy. You know know the saying, "If Mama ain't happy, ain't no body happy?" Yes? No? Well, I think it should be said, "If kid 1 and 2 ain't happy, ain't no body happy," that's the truth! We will be visiting both sides of the family, but I'm bummed we aren't visiting the in-laws this year. Well, maybe just my sister-in-law and the kiddos. It was so nice to get away and do something new last year.

As of yesterday, I started watching my calorie intake again. I actually lost 20 pounds by just doing that when Hubs was gone, so since I've practically packed that back on-I need to lose it again. I never had a problem with my weight until after I had children. Maybe I am crazy about doing this before Christmas, and I know I will crash the diet 2 days next week, but I am ready for a change...again. It is so hard to eat healthy when your family doesn't, but you know when you are ready when you set your mind to it. Please keep me in your prayers as I fight this battle because I love food.

This morning when the boys and I woke up, we cleaned. Well, I cleaned and they messed up, lol! I organized a few things in the house, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and started laundry. Cleaning a house is a task, but I love it! I love to clean and organize. Maybe I'm a tad bit obsessive, but I love the feeling of a clean house. I think my boys do too :) Laundry on the other hand, I hate. We are a family of 4 and we dirty 2 loads A DAY! Is this normal? Not to mention, I also CD (cloth diaper), so that's 2 more loads added a day or every other day. I don't know how I would be able to keep up the house if I was working outside the home. I would be lost in a messy house with clothes piled to the ceiling trying to leap my way from room to room. Impossible.

Sounds like Bentley is up early from his nap, so I better go check. Enjoy your day!

Crafting Machines

Today felt like a drag. It has been raining most of the day and so gloomy out. Usually I love rainy days, but today was an exception. I wanted to curl up in my bed, watch a movie, and nap. How hard is that? Oh wait, very when you have two little boys running around! The weather doesn't feel like Christmas to me this year and it didn't last year either. Last year, we were in Florida for Christmas DUH, so of course the 90 degree weather was different than back home. The guys were were swimming in the pool on Christmas day! This year, 50's and 60's is warm temperatures for us. Please get cold soon! I want snow!

We are craft making machines! I love to make, paint, build, redo, and make up any DIY project! I literally stalk Pinterest and then the next day I'm making it. I share certain things on Facebook, but I've gotten to where I don't do that anymore because you have some people who literally copy every project you do. Hello stalkers! Pinterest is for everyone! Yesterday, in the midst of my bad day, the boys and I made a cute little Santa craft that only took minutes to do. Aren't they the cutest? Tomorrow, we are making another Santa craft that I use to do as a little girl. How fun!

We went to Wal-Mart earlier and I was ready to walk out before I walked in. When I see a parking lot full of cars (especially at Wal-Mart), I want to run in the opposite direction. I had to get ribbon for another craft that I am doing for our families and I couldn't even get down the aisle I needed to without squeezing in between people with huge beer guts and bad B.O. with two screaming kiddos. Help? Instead of 'squeezing,' I grabbed a darker red (needed light red) and ran. Yep! RAN! I use to love Wal-Mart and unfortunately I'm stuck going there, but it seems to me it gets trashier every year. My Mom tells me I'm just getting older and wiser and you see more. Maybe that's it, but I start dreading the trip there when my mind says, "We need to go!"

Are you ready for Christmas? We finished our Santa wrapping today and we are all set. I'm trying to find some neat cake ideas for Jesus's Birthday Cake, but I'm thinking I just may let the boys hand paint the cake with icing. Any ideas would be awesome!

I am hopping off, I have a craft to finish up and coffee to drink. I am looking forward to tomorrow already-not one thing planned besides grocery shopping. Have a good night!!

Under Construction

I am back again. How many times have you heard that? Too many? I'd say so! My page is under construction for a few days, so please bare with me. I am adding new pages to the site and of course, my photography business. I can't wait to share it with you!
