Play Date

Today was a fun filled day. My day started out by sleeping in with Bentley (until 10:15) and did our usual morning routine. Got ready and headed out the door to Play Date. Every Tuesday my cousin gets us Mom's together with our kiddos and have "adult conversation time" while the youngins play. Yes I know, Bentley isn't old enough to play, but he does enjoy his tummy time. I am like most people, I hate being suck inside 4 walls all of the time-especially with Bentley now. I am enjoying being a stay at home mom and I am having a hard time deciding if I want to go back to work. I honestly don't think that I can leave Bentley...2 hours is long enough.
 The Hubs and I started P90x tonight...yeah...I'm out of shape...BAD! I am hoping that I will see improvement in a couple of weeks. I won't lie, I'm sore. I have 22 pounds of baby weight still to lose, but I would really like to lose 28. To me, that is a lot of weight to lose because I LOVE food. This will benefit Bentley and I in many ways.
Do you guys watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians? I'm hooked on that and Teen Mom. I guess since my soap opera ATWT and The Hills went off air, I have found another TV show. What's your input on it-you like it?

I'm Back...again.

Hell all! I have been away for a while, but I am BACK! So much has happened since my last post and I have a lot to catch you up on! Bentley arrived July 4 with a bang! He was 8 lbs 15 oz. 21 1/2 inches long! I pushed less than 20 minutes and out came a beautiful baby boy. God has blessed the Hubs and I so much with our marriage and family. We are taking a new adventure in life and lunging at opportunities that come our way! Bentley is now 10 weeks old weighing at 15 lbs 4 oz 24 in long! He is HUGE! He definitely has his Daddys height, bless him. I can't wait to get this started back up, I hate that I went so long not blogging. You guys have a wonderful night and we'll see you tomorrow!

My 3 days

 As I munch on my cucumbers and vinegar, I will share with you what I have done the past two days. Day before yesterday, the Hubs and I "spring cleaned" the entire house! Yes, it is a little late for that, but I have been waiting until it was close to my due date. I want everything to be dust free before Bentley's arrival! 10 plus hours of hard labor, it paid off! I am in such a better mood now that my house is cleaned and back to where I have been wanting it. Yesterday, the Hubs and I ran all over town and ran out of time. We slept in, showered, went to Panera, went to the mall for a few things, and to Babies R Us to get newborn diapers. YAY! We FINALLY have newborn diapers...38 weeks later, LOL! We depended on diapers for the Baby Shower and it ended up biting us in the butt (start buying when you first find out!). We wrapped the night up with going to Joe's Crab Shack. Yes, I had crab legs and get off me! The OB says that crab legs is fine and eaten occasionally, so don't say that I can't eat it-save your breath. :)

 Today has been somewhat hectic, but slow. I woke up at 11:00, showered and waited on my mom to come pick me up. The Expedition is in the shop (Hallelujah! We are getting the AC fixed, oil changed, and tires rotated) and should be out by Monday- the Hubs has his car. Mama picked me up and we went to the Church to help decorate for VBS which is June 21-25. It's A LOT of work when 7 people are pretty much the only ones who is doing it-don't even get me started. I wasn't able to do much, I was miserable and tired. I didn't have any energy in me what so ever.

Over all, my week has been pretty good. I can't wait to share the Hubs first Father's Day together :) You all have a wonderful night and I will see ya back here tomorrow! Nite ya'll!

Can't Resist Thursday

Fruit Pizza 

1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese softened

1 can of sweet and condensed milk

4 cups assorted fresh fruit such as strawberries, bananas, kiwi, blueberries, etc (any fruit really)

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Place dough on round baking stone and cook 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.

For topping, combine cream cheese and sugar and spread over cookie dough, then start placing on the fruit.

I'm back for now

Okay, so I haven't been able to blog in over 2 months! Our neighborhood wi-fi is always disappearing, so of course we get stuck without Internet. So for now, I am back until it disconnects, LOL.

  Since you have read my last post, a lot has happened. I now have 17 days left until my DUE DATE and we have everything ready! We have our Hospital bags packed and the car seat inserted. Whew! It took a lot of work and money to get where we are at, but God has blessed us. The OB said if I make it to my due date (July 3), he should be well over 8 pounds-perhaps 9. I am measuring at 2.3 cm and he is positioned. Yes, I am looking forward to pushing...LOL.
  I enjoyed my afternoon today believe it or not. My cousin Jessica, and her daughter Caroline came to hang out with me by the pool today. It was hot! Almost too hot, but the clouds helped cover the sun at times. It is nice to have someone to hang out with. I sit at home and don't do anything. Yes, boring life. I am still trying to figure out what to do for Blog Monday, but with all the time I have-I'm sure I will figure something out. I slept!

Hello bloggy world!   Overall, my weekend went pretty good-we gathered with friends and family. I slept wonderful last night and didn't get up until 11 am. I have been fighting insomnia for almost 2 weeks and God has answered my prayer 2 days in a row now! Oh how stressful and exhausted you get when you don't sleep. Last night, I finished up all my Baby Shower invitations and a few thank you cards. Whew! I am mailing them out on Wednesday, but possibly Tuesday since I will be out in town. I am working on Baby Shower Decor today and hope to finish it.
  Tomorrow I am having the 3D/4D ultrasound done and I am SUPER EXCITED! I cannot wait to see my little boy one more time before he arrives! My life is so full of excitement right now and the Hubs and I are so blessed. We have 10 more stressful weeks left and a lot to do!
  Have you guys thought of what I should do for Mondays yet? I took Hubby Monday off and need something to fill in the gap! Please leave me a bloggy comment of leave a comment on the Stay at Home Wifey FB Page!

Random thought: I didn't know you could bust all your blood vessels in your face while pushing during pregnancy.
